She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical and Chemical Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University with over 10-years of experience in Molecular Biology and laboratory diagnosis of inherited diseases. Her Master's degree was in the field of Molecular Diagnosis using Real-Time RCR. M.D. was in screening of CTNS gene mutations in Nephropathic Cystinosis patients using qPCR with High Resolution Melting Analysis (HRMA) and Sanger Sequencing. Practical skills were developed for diagnosis of various diseases, including (but not limited to) automated autoanalyzers, Real-Time PCR, Next generation sequencing and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
